Despite the name, most "modal silk" on the market is actually a high-quality modal weave that mimics the sheen and drape of real silk, though it can also be a physical blend of modal and silk fibers. The wood pulp is processed into a liquid, spun into fibers, and woven into a fabric that feels incredibly smooth.
